Trying on one
pair of frames after another and attempting to judge whether
they suit you or not can be a confusing business. That's why
we make sure that all staff has been specially trained to help
you choose the frames that are best for you.
Our staff have also been trained to advise you on the best
choice of lenses and coatings. These can have a huge effect on
the final appearance of your spectacles - for instance, there
are now thinner lenses for high prescriptions, and special
coatings to reduce glare and light reflections. Both these
lens options will enhance the natural look of your eyes and
emphasise the fashion, rather than the medical, aspect of your
frames. |

VARIFOCAL |
 |
These are for
people who need a reading prescription but don't want to keep
putting on and taking off their spectacles. Varifocal lenses
give you comfortable, clear vision at all distances - from
distance vision at the top of the lens, through intermediate
vision for closer objects, to near vision at the bottom of the
lens. They are particularly useful for computer work, and are
available in high index, plastic, glass and polycarbonate.
We also
offer a new range of varifocal lenses designed specially to
fit into the smallest, most fashionable frames.

| COATING
- SCRATCH-RESISTANT |
 |
Scratch-resistant
coatings do what they say, and will make lenses last longer.

| COATING
- MULTI-ANTI-REFLECTION |
 |
This is
particularly useful for:
- driving at
night - the coating reduces glare from oncoming headlights
- work on
computers - it will reduce glare from the screen
- making
lenses look invisible - and often more attractive
- giving
optimum optical clarity, as it allows more light to pass
through the lens.
Anti-multi-reflection
coating is essential for high index lenses.
